To ensure rural sustainability, there is an urgent need to find new solutions to challenges we face, exploring the use of technology to improve social, community and economic well- being. The changing climate poses many risks at a local level, often met with inaction due to community feelings of helplessness. Focusing on capacity building and action, rather than solely planning, this initiative will help to address identified issues and skills/knowledge deficits, promote the transfer of knowledge, sharing resources and building capacity to scale-up promising initiatives across local groups and communities.
