Self-Contained Acoustic Monitoring Devices for monitoring marine mammals and underwater soundscape This tender supports the delivery of Work Package WP2 of the Multi-disciplinary Ocean Sensing for Adaptive International Conservation (MOSAIC) project, which aims to inform adaptive marine spatial planning through the development of habitat association models for threatened cetaceans, including those listed under the OSPAR Convention. MOSAIC is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The Atlantic Technological University (ATU) seeks tender submissions for the provision of Self-Contained Acoustic Monitoring Devices for monitoring marine mammals and underwater soundscape (specifically anthropogenic noise). MOSAIC is a four-year Peaceplus funded infrastructure project that will instrument all Clew Bay, Donegal Bay and the SeaMonitor array between Malin Head and Islay in Scotland. The project is funded by the PeacePlus programme and is a consortium of 10 partners from Northern Ireland, Ireland, Uk and Canada, lead by the Loughs Agency in Northern Ireland. The ATU are leading the marine mammal acoustic monitoring and soundscape deliverables.
