Irish Red Cross

The Contracting Authority facilitates family reunification travel for beneficiaries approved under 4AMIF44 Project namely “Mental Health, English Language, Employment Skills and Family Reunification Program” co-funded by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) of the Republic of Ireland and the European Union (EU) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2021/1147. This RFT invites qualified and interested Travel Management Companies (TMCs) to submit proposals for the provision of Travel Management and Ancillary Services. The successful tenderer will design, plan, and manage “end-to-end” travel itineraries for Irish Red Cross beneficiaries eligible to reunify with their families in Ireland. Origins may be any international location; destinations will be always within Ireland. Services must include searching, reserving, booking and issuing tickets (including seat, meal, baggage requests, or other requirements specified by the Contracting Authority) for international air travel and, where required for domestic air, rail, ferry, and road transport, and providing special assistance for travellers with additional needs or limited familiarity with airports and travel procedures. In order to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective end-to-end journeys for beneficiaries, minimising stress and risk, maximising accessibility, and delivering value-for-money, services must ensure high quality standards, flexibility, and responsiveness. The service provider will be required to: Provide itinerary planning from point of origin (anywhere in the world) to final destination in Ireland, including first/last mile where required. Accommodate special needs (e.g., mobility assistance, unaccompanied minors, etc.,), arranging airport meet-and-assist for airport escort for unfamiliar travellers and other services. Leverage negotiated, humanitarian/charity fares and competitive pricing while prioritising safety, reliability, and compliance. Provide robust duty-of-care, disruption management, and 24/7 support. (office and out-of-office hours). For more information please refer to the RFT Documents published on eTenders.
