The Irish Defence Forces require an Academic Partner, with a proven track record in providing this service to Public Bodies, to assist with facilitating the newly developed Senior Leaders Development Course. The programme is designed to harness the unique career experiences of senior leaders drawn from across the Irish Defence Forces with some stakeholders from across the wider Defence and Security sector in Ireland to the challenges and responsibilities they will face in the contemporary and future dynamic security environment. Moreover, the programme aims to equip participant leaders with the strategic knowledge, skills and expertise necessary for operating within an increasingly complex and fast evolving defence and security environment. The intent will be to conduct the first iteration of this programme in Q4 2025. The programme is six days duration spread over three months ie. 2 days per month. It is envisaged that one programme will be conducted per year with the possibility of increasing to two programmes per year for the duration of the proposed contract.
