County Kildare Leader Partnership CLG

County Kildare LEADER Partnership have been awarded EU Just Transition Funding to deliver Kildare’s Green Upskilling Programme. With this in mind, County Kildare LEADER Partnership intends to run a programme of green skills training initiatives for individuals and businesses in the EU Just Transition regions of Athy and Clane-Maynooth, Co. Kildare. This tender request focuses on the Home Maintenance, White Goods, and Clothing Repair Training Programme as part of our wider programme of green skills training. Participating in this upskilling programme will enhance participants' employability and gain skills relevant to the local economy and future-proofed against shifts away from traditional peat extraction industries, in addition to improving their knowledge and ability to bring a more circular approach into their home and personal life. Tenders are invited for the provision of training to deliver a series of individual training programmes designed for individuals. The tender is seeking the delivery of three separate courses: 1. Home Repair and Maintenance, 2. White Goods Repair and Maintenance, 3. Clothing Repair and Maintenance.
