Glengariff Route Path

Department of Housing Local Government and Heritage

The National Parks and Wildlife Service have long recognised the need for a safe link that would allow direct pedestrian access from Glengarriff village to the NPWS Glengarriff Woods Nature Reserve. The provision of this pedestrian connection would eliminate the serious risks that walkers to the reserve currently experience while accessing the reserve along the edge of the very busy N71, particularly during the summer season with high volumes of traffic.

Deadline
The time limit for receipt of tenders was 2025-11-25. The procurement was published on 2025-09-18.
