Louth Local Development on behalf of Louth Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) wishes to appoint a trainer/facilitator to deliver the Garden Design Principles for Biodiversity Training Course 2026. Louth Local Development are inviting written tenders from competent individuals, companies or consortia with expertise in garden design and biodiversity and associated areas to provide bespoke training to communities across County Louth to enhance biodiversity in their recreational and community areas. This bespoke training initiative is to be delivered in three venues within the County, (North, South and Mid Louth). Three courses will be delivered over 3 evenings training (7pm to 9pm โ 2 hours per session) for each course with a total of a minimum of 60 participants taking part, (20 per course). A total of 18 hours training (6 per venue). Venues to be confirmed in consultation with Louth Local Development (venues should be community facilities where possible). Full responsibility for the organising of the initiative, recruiting participants and advertising the programme, delivery and handouts will rest with the trainer / facilitator. This bespoke training initiative is aimed at community groups, tidy towns groups, allotment groups, residentโs associations, volunteers, landowners (who provide public access), environmental groups, multicultural groups and the general population who have an interest in conserving and protecting the biodiversity in their local area and within Co. Louth.
