The Contracting authority wishes to establish a four-year multiparty framework agreement for the provision of grass maintenance, landscaping and related services within Dun Laoghaire Rathdown and invites submissions from suitably qualified economic operators for the provision of these services. There will be seven (7) initial contracts. All contracts consist of a range of service operations broadly comprising of grass maintenance, vegetation management, flailing and pruning within tree plantations along roadsides, non-chemical weed control, hedge pruning, cutting, lifting and removal of grass arisings from Pollinator meadows and grass sites, and sweeping of hard surfaces. Associated traffic management will be required at specified sites. Contract 1 to 6 are urban areas where maintenance of parks, open spaces, verges, tree plantations, roundabouts/medians, local authority and Taken-in-charge residential areas, playgrounds, riverbanks, greenways, etc. is required. Full descriptions and mapping of all sites for maintenance will be provided at stage 2 of the competition. The N11 site consists of median and roadside margins from UCD flyover to Loughlinstown roundabout. Maintenance consists of hedge cutting once per annum (night service), standard grass maintenance and cut and remove arisings where bulb pollinator sites occur. Prune and cut vegetation along roadside margins and litter picking. Associated traffic management will be required.
