Dublin City Council Traffic Department is undertaking a Traffic Video Management System project: Dublin City Council (DCC) Traffic Department are undertaking a project to renew their aging Video Management System that is used to monitor and control their entire estate of traffic monitoring cameras throughout Dublin City. This VMS will manage the information stream from the Council’s existing cameras and it's interface with control centre operators and the councils approved partners. For reference, this is being undertaken whilst upgrading and extending their control room capabilities, the details of which are provided under a separate procurement exercise. This programme covers the removal and disposal of some old technology related to the existing VMS system, plus the supply, installation, commissioning and configuration of new VMS technology and software, with support and maintenance for an initial period of 12 months, with up to four (4) additional periods of 12 months each available at the sole discretion of the Contracting Authority, subject to satisfactory performance, continued business need and budget availability The main requirements are divided into four parts: ● Equipment Supply ● Equipment Installation and Commissioning ● Warranty ● Support and Maintenance for 12 months with an option to extend the maintenance to 2 – 5 years subject to satisfactory performance, continued business need and budget availability For further information please refer to documentation available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie Resource ID 7121056. 1. Dublin City Council is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2014. If you consider that any of the information supplied by you is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be highlighted and the reasons for the sensitivity specified. In such cases, the relevant material, will in response to the FOI request; be examined in the light of the exemptions provided for in the Act. 2. It will be a condition for the award of any contract by Dublin City Council that the successful Tenderer and all sub-contractors (if applicable) produce a valid Tax Clearance Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners in compliance with Circular (43) 2006 (or as amended) and that the certificate will be maintained for the duration of the contract and will be on a 12 month basis. In the case of a non-resident Tenderer, a statement of suitability from the Revenue Commissioners will be required. 3. Suppliers must register their interest in the CfT on the eTenders web site (www.etenders.gov.ie) in order to be included on the mailing list for clarifications. Suppliers are advised to check the Messaging box for broadcast messages and tender clarifications from the Contracting Authority which might have issued prior to the date that Supplier associated itself / expressed an interest in the CfT. 4.
