This tender is for a transformational refurbishment of An Grianán Theatre’s auditorium seating. We are seeking to engage a suitably qualified supplier to carry out an extensive refurbishment of the theatre’s auditorium seating. We envisage that this will involve the replacement of the current seating with new units. This works tender includes the stripping out of the current seating in the auditorium, removal from the premises in a suitable environmentally sound disposal and the installation of the new seating units. We require extraction of 383 seats and replacement with 383 new ones. We wish the seating to meet the best standards of customer safety and comfort within the space available. It should be robust and able to withstand heavy use. It should be low maintenance and easily cleaned with the option of having replaceable backs and seats elements in the event of spot damage. The colours and materials used should harmonise with the existing décor of the theatre.
