2025/09 Request for Tender for the Provision of Hospitality and Catering Services to Dunshaughlin Community College

The Contracting Authority is looking to award a contract to a single supplier to operate a concessionary catering service. Only those tenderers who demonstrate the required professional capability to meet the necessary qualitative criteria will be considered. The contract will be awarded to the successful service provider for 2 years with an option to extend for 2 years subject to a maximum of 1 such extension, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. The key customers of the service will be students and staff. There are approximately 1200 students and approximately 90 staff on campus. It is anticipated that approximately 250 students and 10 staff will avail of this service, but there is no guarantee as to the numbers who will use the facility. The canteen can only accommodate seating for 100 people. The successful tenderer should market the area to entice new users however the school retains the right for students and staff that bring in their own lunch/meals to eat them in the dedicated school canteen areas.
