The instrument should aim to generate intrinsic fluorescence for identifying and characterising different samples from various industrial backgrounds, such as biopharma, pharma, medical devices, semiconductors, environmental, and agricultural backgrounds. Hence, light sources that work in intrinsic fluorescence generation are prioritised, especially in Ultraviolet (UV) and deep Ultraviolet (deep UV).
