In order to ensure that the Finance directorate has sufficient resources to provide service and support to the Group in achieving its strategic objectives as the Group is experiencing a period of unprecedented change and growth, there is a requirement to put in place a framework for the provision of Financial Consultancy and Support Services. Lot 1. Financial Support Services – (Secondments)
Given the increase in scale and complexity of our business, from time to time the EirGrid may require temporary secondees in order to ensure that the Finance directorate has sufficient resources to provide service and support to the Group in achieving its strategic objectives.
The service shall be provided in EirGrid offices to support the different teams within the Finance fuction. A work desk shall be provided. The service provider will be expected to adhere to all relevant EirGrid policies. The exact requirements over the duration of the contract are not fully defined but support from the winning Tenderer(s) may be required for the following role types and grades for a duration as to be defined by EirGrid as and when the need for additional resources arises.

Technical accounting advisory services.
Given the increase in scale and complexity of our business, significant accounting issues can arise from time to time. As a result, EirGrid may require technical accounting advisory services on the implementation of new or revised accounting standards or the interpretation of current accounting standards and their application to EirGrid, therefore we are looking to put in place a financial consultancy services agreement (managed service).
The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate significant strength in this area and have sufficient number of experienced staff within their technical accounting teams to be able to provide advice to EirGrid in a timely manner as and when required. It is expected that these services would be provided at the Consultants premises with visits to EirGrid’s offices as and when required.
