The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (“DHLGH” or the “Department”) in conjunction with the Housing Agency (the “HA”) is inviting submissions from Interested Parties who can demonstrate that they can deliver the Mortgage to Rent Scheme (MTR) at scale. Interested Parties, once approved to be a MTR Provider, will be required to commit to submit cases in multiple batches of no less than 20 properties per batch. It is envisaged that the appointment of MTR Providers through this Expression of Interest will be valid for a period of three (3) years, with a review taking place of each Provider’s performance annually to ensure it is adequate, both in terms of the case numbers being completed and the performance under the 25 year Lease Agreement or Payment and Availability obligations.
