The work comprises the construction of a 45m long combi-pile quay wall in front of an existing stone masonry sea quay wall. The construction includes the supply and installation of an anchor system. The anchor system will consist of tie-rods fixed to the tubular piles within the combi-pile wall and on the other end to a concrete anchor wall. Selected high density fill will be placed in front of the anchor wall. Tubular piles are to be installed into competent unweathered bedrock found at the site with rock sockets installed for each tubular pile.
