SEAI and Westmeath County Council have agreed to collaborate on the delivery of an Energy Efficiency and Decarbonization Pathfinder Program. The shared objective is to implement a range of energy efficiency and decarbonization measures in a number of typical Local Authority buildings to test a variety of approaches with a view to developing a scalable model for decarbonising Local Authority building stock going forward. This project will target the initial lot 1 buildings, three critical energy elephants under Westmeath County Council's ownership and/or management.
