The Contracting Authority intends to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to provide an insourced endoscopy service, with lists to be run in Beaumont Hospital, using Beaumont Hospital’s facilities at weekends. The successful tenderer will be remunerated on a ‘per-procedure’ basis, with a committed minimum number of procedures of 604 during the Initial Contract under the framework agreement. The successful tenderer will be required to have sufficient capacity to meet any increase in demand above this figure arising during the Initial Contract. Two rooms will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to approximately 17:00 (at which point it is anticipated that the list for the day will be completed). There will be 26 to 28 points per room.
