Skillnet Ireland

Skillnet Ireland are responsible for supporting several implementation actions within this Digital Europe Programme funded project. This project is titled EAGLE - Covering the training Gap in digital skills for European SMEs manpower. It is a 3-year project with an overall budget of โ‚ฌ3.8 million that is coordinated by the University of Burgos bringing together several key education and industry stakeholders. Skillnet Ireland will implement several activities within the Irish SME skills development context including supporting programme design, course delivery, and dissemination and communication efforts. This will entail engaging with the co-creation activities in an effort to ensure that the programmes developed meet industry needs, while also supporting programme delivery by promoting EAGLE course throughout the Skillnet ecosystem. Skillnet Ireland will also support the evaluation efforts, ensuring that courses deliver the necessary impacts for organisations, while also leading the development of recommendations for policy makers throughout the SME digital skills development context. Skillnet Ireland now seeks support in the implementation of specific tasks in Ireland within Work Package 3 (Course Delivery) and Work Package 4 (Dissemination and Communication). In implementing these tasks, Skillnet Ireland is seeking support from parties with extensive knowledge and experience of supporting learning needs analysis designed to capture industry needs, industry led programme development, promoting learning opportunities to industry stakeholders, evaluation within the industry education and training context, and the dissemination of enterprise led initiatives.
