Description of renewals:

A contract will be awarded for the supply of the required equipment. Following commissioning, the successful tenderer will be required to enter into a comprehensive support and maintenance contract for a period of seven years. Following the expiry of this seven-year period, the Contracting Authority may extend the support contract on an annual basis until the equipment’s obsolescence

Description of options:

As an option that may be availed of solely at the Contracting Authority’s discretion, at any point during the initial seven-year term of this contract, the Contracting Authority may procure additional imaging equipment from the successful tenderer. The imaging equipment in question shall comprise equipment suitable for the fit-out of a general interventional theatre. If such equipment is procured, the successful tenderer shall also be required to support and maintain it until its obsolescence.
