The joint venture manages the Celtic Interconnector project aiming at creating a new electrical link for direct electricity exchange between France and Ireland (575 km).
RTE on behalf of CIDAC wishes to contract a Marine Geoscience Specialist (MGS) for the engineering and construction phase performed by the Cables Contractor on the Celtic Interconnector project until 2027. The MGS will be in charge of providing sound technical expertise in geoscience to CIDAC, especially in relation with the burial and protection of the Cables.

Short description:

RTE on behalf of CIDAC wishes to contract a Marine Geoscience Specialist (MGS) for the engineering and construction phase performed by the Cables Contractor on the Celtic Interconnector project until 2027. The MGS will be in charge of providing sound technical expertise in geoscience to CIDAC, especially in relation with the burial and protection of the Cables.

The services provided by the Marine Geoscience Specialist (MGS) during the full duration of the Celtic project up to 2027 will consist in:

• Review of procedures and operation for the Marine Surveys

• Review of survey results

• Review of procedures and operations for Cable Protection

• Review of interim and final As-Laid Survey results

• Meeting attendance (such as clarifications, negotiations …)

• Operational meetings attendance (such as HIRA, Kick Off Meeting, Tool Box Talk, daily vessel morning meeting …)

• Review of Cable Contractor detailed engineering and construction activities to ensure they are conducted according to Contract and Specifications

• All other critical reviews or operations follow-up deemed relevant by the MGS, CIDAC or the MWS (such as Management of Change review and approval…).

Duration: 44 months

Suitability to pursue the professional activity:

• For candidates registered in France: Extrait de l’inscription au registre du commerce et des sociétés (imprimé K bis), ou Carte d’identification justifiant de l’inscription au répertoire des métiers (original ou copie) datant de moins de 3 mois par rapport à la date limite de réponse.

• For candidates registered out of France a less than three (3) month old document from an official authority certifying the registration of the Candidate on a professional Register.

• A dated and signed solemn declaration certifying that the candidate is not in one of the case prohibiting it to tender as stated in articles L. 2141-1 à L. 2141-5 of Order NO. 2018-1074 of 26 November 2018 related to the public market, and especially, candidate shall be in order with requirements of articles L. 5122-1 to L.5212-11 of the French Civil Code related to employment of disabled workers.

• If the candidate is subject to insolvency procedures, the candidate shall provide all court orders and notifications.

Economic and financial standing:

• Justify of 1M€ turnover for at least one of the three last years (2010, 2021, 2022).

• Provide the turnover amount associated to the type of services requested in the contract notice for the 3 last years (2010, 2021, 2022).

• Provide a short background of the candidate and an organization chart (mentioning the number of employees).

• Present the candidate from a legal point of view in order to clearly understand its financial resources, its organization and its shareholders (clarify if the candidate is part of a group and provide group legal/financial details).
