Celtic Interconnector Designated Activity Company (CIDAC) is a joint venture between the Transmission System Operators (TSO) of Ireland and France, EirGrid via its Irish wholly-owned subsidiary, and RTE respectively. The joint venture manages the Celtic Interconnector project aiming at creating a new electrical link for direct electricity exchange between France and Ireland (575 km).
RTE on behalf of CIDAC wishes to contract a Marine Geoscience Specialist (MGS) for the engineering and construction phase performed by the Cables Contractor on the Celtic Interconnector project until 2027. The MGS will be in charge of providing sound technical expertise in geoscience to CIDAC, especially in relation with the burial and protection of the Cables.

• Meeting attendance (such as clarifications, negotiations …)
