To this end, CIE/IE holds a substantial portfolio of telecommunications assets including trackside fibre. CIE/IE is seeking advice as to the value of current fibre arrangements within its portfolio and also the potential for future commercial arrangements, and is seeking consultants for a period of up to 3 years, with possibility to extend for further 24 months on annual basis (1+1) at the discretion of CIE/IE.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:

CIE anticipates that it will, following the PQQ stage of this procurement process, have established a shortlist of pre-qualified Applicants. Subject to a sufficient number of Applicants satisfying the Minimum Requirements, CIE shall shortlist up to five Applicants (provided that a sufficient number of Applicants apply and meet the Minimum Requirements). The number of Applicants to be shortlisted is on the basis of those Applicants meeting the Minimum Requirements and achieving the highest scores for pre-qualification using the Selection Criteria. CIE reserves the right to increase the number of Applicants beyond five should several applicants achieve same score.
