The Project aims to create a functionally diverse reimagined Public Realm in Bawn St, Strokestown, Co Roscommon to include the following:
โ€ข Creation of a truly memorable threshold to Strokestown Park House recognising the traditional/period character of the house and be sympathetic to this in terms of materiality and style.
โ€ข New Public Lighting, street furniture and landscaping in line with the above objective
โ€ข Spaces for events and festivals and outdoor dining
โ€ข Off-street parking and shared pedestrian areas.
The project also includes the design of a new Town Park which will serve as a natural gathering space for all ages with pedestrian links back to the town.
