Dublin Fire Brigade are seeking tenders for the Provision of new firefighting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the maintenance of new and existing firefighting personal protective Equipment (PPE) to Dublin Fire Brigade including fitting service, supply, delivery, maintenance, and provision of a PPE management database.
Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB), as part of Dublin City Council and has approx. 1000 male and female fire-fighters working four continuous shifts 24/7 to deliver a fire, rescue, call taking & dispatch and Emergency Ambulance service to the citizens of Dublin City and County on behalf of the four Dublin local authorities. Firefighting is the primary task of the fire brigade, and the Health and Safety of our firefighters is paramount during this activity. Therefore, we will be seeking the highest standard of firefighting PPE for this activity at a reasonable price.

It will be a condition for the award of any contract by Dublin City Council that the successful Tenderer and all sub-contractors (if applicable) produce a valid Tax Clearance Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners in compliance with Circular (43) 2006 (or as amended) and that the certificate will be maintained for the duration of the contract and will be on a 12 month basis. 6. The framework agreement is primarily for use by Dublin Fire Brigade, but may also be extended for use by other divisions of Dublin City Council as requirements arise.
