This pilot scheme was not a consideration when drafting the initial specification and the estimation of the contract value. The scheme is to be resourced through the existing services procured under the initial procurement. The current contract, including extensions, is due to expire on 30 April 2027. As expenditure has exceeded the estimated value initially advertised, it is hoped to run a procurement competition in Q1 2025 for the service.
