The Groundwater and Geothermal Programme (GGU) in Geological Survey Ireland (GSI) is responsible for providing maps, data, expertise and advice for groundwater resources and protection, often with a focus on the supply of drinking water. GGU wish to carry out groundwater resource assessments in the Shannon and Corrib catchments of Ireland. External hydrogeological services are required to undertake the analytical and field assessments to produce Groundwater Resource Assessment Catchment Reports for up to fifteen priority catchments identified in the Shannon and Corrib region. These resource assessments will follow the technical methodology established in the Groundwater Resource Assessment Catchment Project (โGW3Dโ) โ East and South.
