โข Refurbishment of an existing masonry arch bridge.

Waterways Ireland is undertaking a pre-qualification process to assess the suitability of prospective tenderers for the main construction contract relating to the Ulster Canal Restoration, Phase 2 (Clones to Clonfad), Co. Monaghan.
The Phase 2 restoration project is funded by the Department of the Taoiseach (Shared Island Unit), Department of Rural and Community Development (Rural Regeneration and Development Fund) and Department of Housing Local Government and Heritage.
Submissions are sought from suitably experienced applicants who can demonstrate experience relevant to the required works and who can mobilise sufficient plant and labour resources to undertake and complete the project. Waterways Ireland intends to prequalify the top five to seven ranked applicants.
Suitability Assessment will be conducted on the basis of the criteria established in QW1 Suitability Assessment for Works Contractor and as PSCS and PSDP, Restricted Procedure for the principal civil engineering contractor.
