The contracting authority intends to appoint a legal services provider with demonstrable experience of the healthcare sector and a sufficient breadth and depth of expertise to act as a ‘full service’ legal advisor to them. It is envisioned that this competition shall result in the attainment of the optimum balance between the quality and cost of service. Additionally, where possible, the contracting authority intends to implement fixed fee arrangements for transactional work, which will serve to delivery cost certainty.
