ESB is intending to sell in the region of 8 250 metric tonnes of marked gasoil from Poolbeg Power station. The fuel has an average sulphur level of 0.123 mg/kg.
The fuel can be moved by vessel from the Poolbeg oil jetty or by road tanker. The fuel will be sold FOB for vessels and ex works for road tankers. It is our intention that the gasoil be sold in one lot.
Request can be made via the e-tenders message system for the information pack on meeting the criteria in the cover letter.
Interested parties should note that this selection process is not governed by the provisions of Directive 2004/18/EC or Directive 2004/17/EC (or the Irish regulations transposing those Directives) and ESB does not intend to follow the procedures or rules set out in those Directives/Regulations in this selection process. This is not a Procurement process.
