The National Roads Office of Westmeath County Council are inviting submissions from contractors to pre-qualify through a suitability assessment questionnaire in the first stage of the restricted tender procedure for the construction of the Athlone Cycle and pedestrian bridge over the River Shannon
This pre-qualification is for the construction of the Athlone Cycle and pedestrian bridge over the River Shannon which is a key component of the Galway to Dublin Cycle route which ensures a segregated cycleway crossing that provides easy passage and, critically, safe access through the town of Athlone which is seen as a halfway point along the proposed Galway to Dublin Cycleway.
