National Framework Agreement Scaffolding

Electricity Supply Board ( ESB )

The Contracting Entity intends to procure a Framework Agreement for the provision of scaffolding services to ESB Generating Stations. The Framework will be divided into 4 Lots. ESB intend to enter into a multi-party framework agreement for each Lot. One company may submit a proposal for one or more of the Lots. It is proposed that the Contract will include (but not be limited to) all requirements for scaffolding work in ESB Generating Stations on the island of Ireland, from small requirements to major overhauls. The scaffolding requirement will vary from location to location and with the nature of the specific task. This is a high level description of the services required. The list of stations as described in the PQQ document is not exhaustive and other ESB locations may require scaffolding during the life of the framework.

In all such cases it should be understood that such indications are to be treated strictly and solely for reference purposes only, to which the words "or equivalent" will always be appended. 9) Without prejudice to the principle of equal treatment, the contracting entity is not obliged to engage in a clarification process in respect of questionnaires with missing or incomplete information.
