The following are the main elements but not limited to the multi party framework agreement for Lot 1:

โ€ข installation of ducts, gullies, drainage,manholes and chambers;
โ€ข roadway repairs including potholes(flexible and rigid);
โ€ข footway repairs and refurbishment;
โ€ข construction and upgrade of footways, cycle tracks etc.;
โ€ข resurfacing and High friction antiskid surfacing and installation of road markings (associated with the work);
โ€ข granite and flagging work (high quality finish);
โ€ข diversion of services;
โ€ข road and street improvements (including widening and narrowing);
โ€ข development and implementing of the traffic management plan;
โ€ข installation of public lighting columns, M&E and CCTV;
โ€ข installation of tactile paving and dishing including installation and upgrade of pedestrian crossings;
โ€ข installation of fencing, gates, booths, bollards, pedestrian barriers, street furniture, signage, cycle parking and shelters etc.;

Description of renewals:
Subject always to the terms of the framework, DPC intend that the framework will be for 4 years, with the option to extend for 2 years, subject to a maximum of 6 years, subject to satisfactory performance, business needs and budgetary constraints.
For the avoidance of any doubt, the term of a call-off contract may last longer than the framework period.
