Control and instrumentation maintenance resources framework for ESB generating stations.
The work to be carried out is the provision of Instrumentation contractor resources for ongoing instrumentation maintenance at ESB Generating Stations.
A substantial amount of additional work may be in progress by other contractors at the same time therefore the contractor will be expected to undertake and commit to working closely with the engineer, whose approval will be required for access to specific work areas. The ability to work and co-operate with ESB staff and other contractors is a requirement of this framework.
The contractor will also be responsible for supplying suitably qualified working Chargehands, Instrument technicians and electricians as part of this contracted resource. However, additional services or works may be required and this is not an exhausted list.
The service will be for 3 years, with an option to extend for a period of 2 years at ESBs discretion.
