The following Main Contractor works are required:
The works to Georges Dock include for the provision of a white-water rafting course constructed largely of insitu high specification concrete inserted within the existing Dock (approx. 100m x 80m). The intention is to create a central island with a canoe polo pool. A kayak and canoe conveyor, plantroom, pumping station, swift water rescue training centre and floodable urban street comprise the balance of the accommodation in the Dock. There is also conservation works (mostly cleaning and repointing) to the existing Dock walls.
