The โUCD Villageโ building is a two-storey student centre, with a 290 seat auditorium, restaurant, retail units, gymnasium, health and wellbeing centre, meeting rooms and office accommodation. It also includes a five-storey residential block which contains 60 No studio apartments. This gives a total accommodation of 924 No bedrooms. UCD, the Contracting Authority (CA), now intends to purchase loose furniture for UCD Student Residences Masterplan Phase 1 buildings under an โopen procedureโ. Furniture for this project will be supplied and installed in Block D, Block E and UCD Village student break out areas, commercial areas and lounges and as such the furniture will need to be suitable (i.e. quality, aesthetically, etc.) for use in these instances.
