Description of the procurement
Sport Ireland is seeking to develop a national communications campaign aimed at men aged 45 + living in disadvantaged communities to participate in sport and physical activity.
The main objective is to develop a national communications campaign to reach the specified target audience with the ultimate goal of getting them involved in sport and physical activity.
This communications campaign is funded via Dormant Accounts, which is used to support:
โ personal and social development of persons who are economically or socially disadvantaged,
โ the educational development of persons who are educationally disadvantaged,
โ persons with a disability.
This is expected to be a two-stage project:
Stage 1: Formative Research: To provide insights into the lives of men aged over 45 living in disadvantaged communities and the place of sport and physical activity in their lives.
Stage 2: National Communications Campaign: The roll out of a national campaign, which must engage communities and stakeholders as, detailed.
The successful service provider will be expected to deliver both stages of the project. Sport Ireland acknowledge that this may require service providers to adopt a joint venture approach in advance of submitting a tender and Sport Ireland wishes to clarify, that both stages should be covered in a single tender submission.
