Tenders are invited for the supply of granular materials and soils and the removal and disposal of waste materials to facilitate flood relief works being carried out on the Morell River and its tributaries in locations between Kill and Turnings Lower in Co. Kildare. The works involve the construction of approximately 7.5 km of earthen embankment and 500 m of reinforced concrete flood walls at various locations adjacent to the banks of the Morell, Kill, Slane and the Painstown rivers.
The works are due to commence in July 2020 and are scheduled to be carried out over a period of approximately 3 years.
