RTÉ intends to replace its TV Playout Servers in 2020. The playout servers reside in presentation and are used to playout all non-live content on RTÉ's linear channels RTÉ One, RTÉ2 and RTÉ Junior.
There are two playout servers in presentation. Each playout server has 12 ports giving RTÉ full resilience across three channels (RTÉ One, RTÉ 2 and RTÉ Junior) as well as providing a full test/backup channel.
