The new STEM building extension is a circa 1 300 m two storey building which is being constructed on the eastern side of the existing North Building to provide teaching and lab spaces for students at the facility.
The new building will include a two storey link to the existing North Building which will require some alteration works within the North Building to facilitate same.
The new facility is a brick and glazing clad RC structure with highly serviced laboratory and associated teaching spaces. Services connections for the facility will be adjacent, reserved specialists will be shortlisted and procured for the following elements of the works:

โ€” mechanical services,
โ€” electrical services,
โ€” laboratory furniture and equipment.
