The Codling Wind Park (CWP) is located off Codling Bank, 13 km from the east coast of Ireland between Greystones and Wicklow, in water depths between 7 and 30 meters LAT. The development is planned to incorporate an offshore substation(s), transmission infrastructure and individual wind turbine foundations and structures, and enables grid connection cables to the Irish coastline.
The purpose of the scope is to perform an offshore geophysical survey across the main site and along the export cable routes at Codling Offshore Windfarm that will include multibeam bathymetry, sonar imaging and seismic profiling.

Lot 2: Offshore geophysical survey along export cable routes down to 6 m LAT.
The smallest export cable corridor shows an approximative length of 15 km.
Geophysical survey has to be performed on 500 m wide corridor with side scan sonar, multibeam bathymetry, Sub-bottom profiler, single channel seismic, magnetometry and grab samples.
Above mentioned Lot 2 route length is the minimum scope we would have to perform along the export cable route and the other routes are put as options of the Lot 2 as described in section II.2.11.

โ€” estimated maximum corridor lengths to be investigated: 150 km (indicative and to be confirmed)
โ€” shore approach: 5 km long and 500 m wide corridor to be investigated in water depths from 7 m LAT to HWM with multibeam bathymetry, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler and magnetometry. A topographic survey is also expected to be performed at the landfall/beach during low tide to reach the 0m LAT limit.

Legal form to be taken by the group of economic operators to whom the contract is to be awarded:
A group of economic operators is not required to convert into a specific legal form in order to make a SQ Response, but it may be required to do so prior to entering into a contract with the contracting entity to the extent that this is necessary for the satisfactory performance of the contract. The contracting entity reserves the right, amongst other solutions, to require that the contract be entered into with each member of the group on the basis of joint and several liability or to contract with one member of the group as prime contractor to whom the other members will be sub-contractors.
