ESB Networks is responsible for the meter management, operations, data collection activities and the central market system which supports the Republic of Ireland electricity retail market. ESB Networks also owns the Distribution System Operator for the Irish electricity system.
The Smart Metering Deployment Operations Centre (DOC), based in Dublin, Ireland is an integral part of the Smart Metering Project, it is responsible for the delivery of Smart meter installations and consists of five work streams outlined below:
— strategy and planning,
— operations management,
— deployment contractor management,
— safety, health, quality and environment,
— tech and app support.

Duration: 48 months
Description of options:

The duration of the framework agreements will be for 48 months duration with an option, at the discretion of ESB, to extend up to a further 36 months in one or more increments.
