The nature of the requirement under this tender is such that the identified support will be required on‐site for agreed period(s) of time as needed to support each individual project; It is envisaged that during a period of support the nominated clerk of works will be working in situ at the Bishopstown Campus for a minimum of three (3) days on average per week; however, depending upon the demands of the project, the number of days on site could vary from one (1) to five (5) days in any given week. Upon appointment and annually thereafter, CIT’s Building Officer shall liaise with the appointed contractor to discuss the Institute’s programme of work so that the contractor and its nominated clerk of works can plan and manage their diaries efficiently. The contract will be for an initial period of 15 months with provision for a maximum of 2 (two) 12‐month extensions.
