Description of the procurement
The project involves the upgrading of approximately 2 km of local roads typically with 2 x 3.25m lanes of single carriageway, 2 no. new footways and 2 no. new cycleways. The typical cross section of the road is 14m wide. The improvement works are all on-line along the existing roads.
The scheme commences at Lamb's Cross junction (R117) and extends approximately 1.4km to the junction with Ticknock Road (adjacent to the bridge over the M50). The proposed scheme includes approximately 375m of reconstructed roadway at the 3 tie-in roads at Lambs Cross, Enniskerry Road, Sandyford Road and Hillcrest Road and 55m at Ticknock Road.
The scheme includes an improvement to the junction of Grange Road/Harold's Grange Road/College Road/Kellystown Road. The length of improved roads at this junction is approximately 150m.

โข Sectional Completion of works are required for the improvement works at the existing traffic signalised junction of Grange Road/Harold's Grange Road/Kellystown Road/College Road

โข Upgrading of bus stops on Blackglen Road, Sandyford Road and Enniskerry Road
โข Earthworks including excavations and embankment construction
