Tenders are sought for the supply and erection of a 20 m x 12.8 m Glasshouse, which will be located at Tops Potato Propagation Centre, Raphoe, Co Donegal, F93 HV02, with a separate, temperature controlled, isolation room.
The main purpose of the glasshouse is for potato mini-tuber production with the Isolation room to be used for Virus Diagnostics. Given the vulnerable nature of the mini-tuber crop and its requirement to be virus free, it is essential that the isolation room is a completely sealed unit and therefore produces no risk of aphids/dust spores/water droplets etc. entering the main part of the glasshouse. Glasshouse construction must conform to strength calculation program CASTA, version 3.01 SP1.

The contracting authority reserves the right to extend the term of warranty and/or service contracts for a period or periods of up to one (1) year with a maximum of four (4) such extension or extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to the contracting authority’s obligations at law.
