This existing solution is further described below but includes end user devices and back end infrastructure components that critically have several single points of failure that need to be addressed before the solution can be rolled out to remaining staff in the University — there is a single audiocodes mediant appliance installed in Hub 2 on the Grangegorman campus with a single SIP trunk provided by Eir and delivered over HEAnet infrastructure connected to the appliance.
