When the new children’s hospital opens in 2023 it will have a main campus alongside St James’s Hospital and 2 supporting Paediatric Outpatients and Urgent Care Centres (POPDUCC’s) at Connolly and Tallaght hospitals. However, the Paediatric outpatients and Urgent Care Centre will open in advance of the main campus and a phased opening is scheduled for the 2 centres, starting in 2019.
