The entire project involves the inspection and re-treatment of approx. 321 vehicles. The vehicles are based in Bus Eireann garages nationwide. The contract will be divided into Lots as follows:
Lot 1: Western Region (including up to 40 vehicles based at depots in Athlone and Galway) and Northwest Region (including up to 29 vehicles based at depots in Ballina, Sligo and Stranorlar);
Lot 2: Eastern Region (including up to 68 vehicles based at depots in Broadstone, Cavan and Dundalk);
Lot 3: Southern Region (including up to 125 vehicles based at depots in Cork, Rosslare and Waterford);
Lot 4: Southwest Region (including up to 59 vehicles based at depots in Limerick and Tralee).
Within each lot, Bus Eireann may contract with one or more tenderers based on the capacity of participants to complete the work according to project timescales.

The Contracting Authority proposes establishing a multi-party framework for the provision of the inspection and reapplication of vehicle anti-corrosion under-treatment for a 4 year period. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend this Framework Agreement for a further period of 12 or 24 months.
