Iarnród Éireann (IE) has a requirement to engage an Independent Assessor (IA) for the National Train Control Centre Project (NTCC). The selected Independent Assessor (IA) will be asked to produce an independent assessment plan against this remit. The IA is to fulfil the roles of an Assessment Body (CSM-AB) under the common safety method on risk assessment and evaluation [CSM 352/2009]. The IA may be required to fulfil the role of an Independent Assessor (IA) under the CENELEC standard [EN50129].
