Short description:
The initial contract used to establish the framework comprises designing a space for replacement of hydrogen generator in TNI Block C. Tyndall National Institute utilise an onsite hydrogen generator to generate ultra high purity hydrogen gas that is used in a number of processes. The current generation unit has reached end of life and will be replaced. The current hydrogen generator is located on the ground floor of the Block A, Phase 4 plantroom.

It is Tyndall’s intention to replace the current hydrogen generator with two (2) new units.. Tyndall are currently finalising the procurement of these units. This will be a separate procurement process managed by UCC Procurement Office.
