Description of the procurement
Cork County Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Consulting Engineer (the Consultant) to lead a multi-disciplinary team including urban designers, landscape architects and architects with conservation and archaeology skills, to prepare the necessary designs, planning documentation, land acquisition documentation, construction tender documentation, contract administration and undertake site supervision within the role of Project supervisor design stage (PSDS) to implement a number of infrastructure projects within the Carrigtwohill Urban expansion area (UEA), specified lands outside the UEA and along the Main Street in Carrigtwohill, County Cork:
1) New Northern Services Corridor Link Road including underpass;
2) New Western Services Corridor Link Road;
3) New Eastern Services Corridor Link Road;
4) New Mains Surface Water Drainage Sewer/System for UEA and Road Upgrades;
5) Leamlara Road Realignment and Improvement Scheme;
6) Station Road Realignment and Improvement Scheme;
7) Station Road/Carrigtwohill Main Street Junction Upgrade;
8) Carrigane Road/Carrigtwohill Main Street Junction Upgrade;
9) Castlelake Avenue/Carrigtwohill Main Street Junction Upgrade;
10) Oakbrook link/Wiseโs Road Junction Upgrade;
11) Main Street/Wiseโs Road Junction Upgrade;
12) Ballyadam/Wiseโs Roads Upgrade (sections of L7640 and L3616) Design Layout and Cross Sections;
13) New Interurban Greenway;
14) Carrigtwohill West Railway Stop and Access;
15) Community and Open Space Development Strategy and Framework Plan;
16) Public Realm Strategy;
17) Cobh Road Junction Additional Capacity Interim Measures.
